The Manager of Analytics Engineering provides hands-on technical expertise to develop, deploy, and maintain core data models and infrastructure. This role is ideal for building scalable, well-documented data models and enabling self-service analytics across the organization.
We seek a skilled Analytical Engineer to bridge data engineering and analytics, transforming raw data into structured, business-ready datasets. Responsibilities include designing analytical workflows, ensuring data quality, and optimizing for business intelligence and decision-making. Strong technical skills in data transformation, modeling, and pipeline optimization are essential, along with excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with the business to gather requirements and deliver data products for decision-making.
2. Develop a centralized data layer for scalable data delivery.
3. Use ELT frameworks to transform raw data into contextualized models, proposing architectural solutions for efficiency.
4. Partner with AI/ML teams to support AI-enabled tools.
5. Work within dbt to produce documented, tested, and DRY code.
6. Follow analytical lifecycle and quality frameworks for timely, accurate data delivery.
7. Innovate to increase speed-to-delivery and support business decisions.
Qualifications
* BA/BS or higher in relevant fields (e.g., Computer Science, Math, Data Science, Engineering).
* Proficiency in SQL and scripting (Python/R).
* Experience with version control and Agile development.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to gather requirements and communicate complex analyses effectively.
* Experience with dbt, AI/ML, data engineering tools (Airflow), and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
The starting salary in NJ ranges from $95,970 to $116,300; in WA, from $105,560 to $127,900, plus incentives.
