Colm Quinn Galaway BMW is looking for a Motor Technician.
Your role
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine service and maintenance on customer vehicles to manufacturer standards.
* Carry out diagnostic work and produce accurate technical reports for the Workshop Controller.
* Complete repairs and vehicle preparation in line with BMW’s methodologies and quality expectations.
* Accurately document work performed, parts used, and labour hours for invoicing and record-keeping.
* Conduct comprehensive vehicle health checks and identify potential issues or defects.
* Communicate clearly with the Workshop Controller/Service Manager regarding any delays or additional repairs required.
* Maintain cleanliness and protection of vehicles throughout the service process.
* Ensure all work meets BMW safety and quality standards before returning vehicles to customers.
Your profile
* Fully qualified Motor Technician.
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the motor trade.
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
* Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering top-quality workmanship.
* Fluent English essential.
* Must be available for occasional weekend and overtime work.
* Must be authorised to work in Ireland.
