Job Title: Supply Chain Professional - Sustainability and Supplier Responsibility
We are seeking an ambitious supply chain professional with a keen interest in sustainability and supplier responsibility management to join our team.
The role will involve collaborating with other departments and suppliers, driving the supplier onsite audit programme, evaluating new suppliers, formulating a supplier rating system, and leading our responsible sourcing program.
You will work closely with the quality department, participate in customer and standards certification audits, contribute to our established CSR and sustainability strategy, and train our suppliers in company policies and procedures.
This is a new role that requires strong project management and leadership skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive the supplier onsite audit programme in collaboration with the quality department.
* Evaluate new suppliers as a member of the supplier evaluation team.
* Formulate a supplier rating system based on department KPIs.
* Work as part of a team to achieve supply chain KPIs including dual sourcing, cost reduction, and supplier management.
* Lead our responsible sourcing program and manage our annual Ecovadis submission.
* Represent the supply chain team for customer and standards certification audits.
* Contribute to our established CSR and sustainability strategy including re-shoring initiatives.
* Participate in value analysis programmes.
* Train our suppliers in company policies and procedures and ensure they are compliant with our standards.
* Ensure our supply chain policies and procedures are up-to-date.
* Sourcing capabilities and industry knowledge to act as a backup to the buying team.
Requirements:
* A third-level degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Quality.
* Auditing experience (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 450001) would be an advantage.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a supply chain or technical role.
* Time management and task prioritization skills.
* Good project management and leadership skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* A keen eye for detail with a strong ability to multi-task.
* Ability to travel throughout Europe regularly and occasionally to Asia.
