Overview
We are seeking a highly capable and driven Technical Delivery Lead to oversee the technical delivery of a strategic EMEA HR Payroll rationalisation project. This role is pivotal in supporting the rollout of a single payroll provider across the EMEA region, ensuring seamless integration, governance, and alignment with business objectives.
Acting as a deputy to the Head of BPM & HR Tech, you will lead all technical aspects of the project, collaborating with internal teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant, and future-ready payroll solutions.
Responsibilities
* Technology Delivery Management
o Develop and manage detailed delivery plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
o Oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
o Monitor progress, proactively identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
o Manage project budgets and ensure adherence to IT governance and change management processes.
o Build strong relationships with HR and technology stakeholders to support effective communication and delivery.
* Platform Integration & Architecture
o Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to design and implement technical integrations between SDWorx Payroll and SAP SuccessFactors.
o Document data flows and technical specifications aligned with business requirements.
o Ensure proposed solutions comply with IT strategy, security policies, and change governance.
* Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
o Own technology communications across internal and external stakeholders.
o Translate business requirements into technical proposals and delivery plans.
o Support vendor onboarding, contribute to RFP processes, and evaluate technical solutions.
* Additional Responsibilities
o Support scope definition, business justification, and project objectives.
o Contribute to BPM IT team initiatives based on skills and capacity.
o Maintain risk and issue logs, and support contingency planning.
Qualifications
* Education & Qualifications
o Ideally degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
o Relevant experience in a Technology Implementation Lead, Project Manager, or Business Analyst role, ideally within financial services.
o Project Management or Agile certification preferred (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI).
* Technical Expertise
o Strong experience in SDLC environments across design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
o Hands-on experience with Payroll Integration technologies.
o Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors and SDWorx is advantageous.
o Experience with data migration and ETL processes.
o Proficient in MS Office Suite (Visio, Excel, Word) and Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS DevOps).
