Position Summary:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position is that of a Trade-in Operative who will be responsible for the day-to-day provision of services in the MacroEV services centre.
Essential Responsibilities:
Perform detailed inspection of inbound / outbound devices including quality assessments of each device returned via our trade-in channels
Salvage components (where applicable) and provide unit replacement services to improve device grading for onward sale
Perform day-to-day operations tasks utilising our systems / portals
Support the Services Administrator in the resolution of any customer (internal or external) /vendor queries and escalations
Weekly reporting and adhering to department KPI's / Metrics
Manage Stock / Parts
Engage and support vendors
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
PC literate with strong competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams etc.
Good working knowledge of mobile devices including phone & tablets
Genuine interest in mobile technologies including Google, Apple, Samsung
Ability to work comfortably on multiple platforms
Strong customer / vendor focus and problem-solving abilities
Have good written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
Pride in the quality and presentation of work
Experience in a similar role would be advantageous
