This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a leading organization in the pharmaceutical industry as a Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering business and marketing objectives, with a focus on maximizing sales and activity.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the product portfolio and will be able to develop and maintain good selling skills using Infinity, the company adopted sales model. They will also be able to conduct sales calls with customers in pharmacies, as well as potential calls to specialized departments in hospitals and other healthcare institutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set objectives on sales, activity, and other metrics. You will work closely with colleagues to maximize commercial effectiveness and liaise effectively with relevant third-party stakeholders.
You will also be responsible for maintaining and developing strong product and therapy area knowledge, as well as having a detailed understanding of the marketing strategy for promoted products.
Additionally, you will take part in development days, designed to support your growth and improve your performance and outcomes. You will proactively seek feedback from customers, colleagues, and management on personal performance and act on development areas highlighted by their response.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave. The role involves acting as a point of contact on a local level for customers, principally in pharmacy, but may include secondary care and general practice. The ideal candidate would be based in Munster.

About the Role
The Business Development Manager will play a key role in achieving business objectives and will be responsible for delivering sales and activity targets. This will involve working closely with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop effective solutions.
Requirements
* A 3rd-level qualification is desirable, preferably a science degree
* An experienced healthcare representative with 3 years or more relevant experience is desired
* A full driving license is essential
* Strong user of Microsoft Office software packages
