We are seeking an individual to work in a busy office environment, providing excellent customer service and administration support.
In this role, you will be responsible for answering phone calls in a timely and polite manner, recording and reporting damages, and working towards achieving team goals. You will also be required to import EDI files, print necessary paperwork, and assist in booking gate passes and organizing permits.
Key tasks include:
* Answering the phone in a polite and timely manner
* Recording and reporting all damages
* Working towards achieving team goals
* Importing all EDI files and printing the required paperwork
* Ensuring all EDI files are correct and updated as required
* Assisting in booking gate passes and organizing permits
* Recording client instructions on TMS to ensure goods are collected and delivered as required
* Making shipping bookings with ferry companies
* Resolving day-to-day issues to ensure goods are collected and delivered as required
* Managing customer expectations
* Seeking additional bookings if work balance needs to be created
* Updating the task log
* Performing customs functions
* Advising the UK and other cargo partners of all instructions required for them to provide service
* Planning and prioritizing routes in a cost-effective manner
* Achieving and exceeding targets
The successful candidate will have experience in customer service administration and data entry. Remuneration will depend on experience and can be discussed during the interview.
