Process Shift Operator – Indaver Ireland & UK MSW
Indaver leads sustainable waste management across Europe. Our waste-to-energy facility in Meath produces enough electricity to power 22,000 homes annually. This permanent, full‑time role is part of the Meath Production Team, autonomously controlling and executing plant operations.
Role And Responsibilities
* Work safely and correctly, ensuring a safe workplace for everyone.
* Ensure the plant operates continuously, at capacity and within licence parameters.
* Monitor the plant via process computer, incineration process, flue gas cleaning, steam condensate system and electricity production.
* Ensure consumables are accepted as per delivery and required specifications.
* Execute preventive and corrective maintenance actions, e.g., lubrication and cleaning of equipment.
* Work in a team‑driven shift pattern with generous shift allowance.
Experience and Qualifications
* Leaving Certificate with technical subjects or equivalent.
* 5 years' experience in the process industry (metallurgy, basic materials, power plant, petrochemicals, mass production) in a similar role.
* Experience and knowledge in maintenance of mechanical equipment is an advantage.
