Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Associate Director – Bioanalytics will provide strategic and operational leadership across the Biosafety/CBA and Analytical departments. This role leads 5 direct reports with an overall headcount of ~75, ensuring high‑quality, compliant, and efficient bioanalytical testing services to support global clients.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop QC teams performing routine product release and stability testing, including:Compendial methodsChromatographyImmunological and potency assaysVirological safety testingMolecular methodsOversee method transfer activities for multiple clients, including method qualification, validation, and verification.Partner with senior leadership to drive business growth, including new clients, expanded service offerings, and emerging product modalities.Track, trend, and act on key performance metrics/KPIs, including:Right First Time (RFT)Revenue and operational income (OI)Manage departmental budgets, forecasting, and headcount to achieve financial and operational targets.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support digital transformation, including automation, AI, and system enhancements, to improve efficiency and scalability.Ensure ongoing compliance with GMP and EHS&S requirements.RequirementsMSc or higher in a relevant scientific discipline.3–5 years’ experience leading a successful, fast‑paced business unit, preferably within a CRO or regulated bioanalytical environment.Proven experience leading large, multi‑disciplinary and multicultural teams.Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and develop leaders.Strong working knowledge of GMP and EHS&S regulations (essential).Experience with P&L management is a strong advantage.Background in business optimization, operational excellence, or continuous improvement is highly desirable.Why Join Us?Senior leadership role with significant scale and impactOpportunity to shape future growth, digital innovation, and client strategyCollaborative environment with a strong focus on career development and innovation
