To evaluate and validate measurement systems and equipment, ensuring their capability to provide accurate, reliable, and consistent results.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute Gauge R&R studies (both repeatability and reproducibility) for various measurement systems.Perform statistical analysis on measurement data to evaluate measurement system variation.Provide recommendations for improving measurement system accuracy and precision.Collect data using measurement instruments and coordinate with operators and technicians for data consistency.Use statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, etc.) to analyze data and generate reports.Identify sources of variation in the measurement system and recommend corrective actions.Work closely with quality engineers, production teams, and suppliers to address measurement system issues.Support the development and implementation of corrective actions when measurement errors are detected.Prepare detailed reports that summarize Gauge R&R study results, conclusions, and recommended actions.Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and industry regulations.Maintain records of validation activities for audit and traceability purposes.Participate in ongoing improvement initiatives to enhance the measurement process and reduce variability in production.Lead projects focused on improving measurement system performance.Key QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).2-5 years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role, with a focus on measurement systems and Gauge R&R studies.Proven experience using statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel, JMP) to perform measurement system analysis.Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is desirable.Experience in calibration, validation, and equipment qualification processes.Experience with metrology equipment (e.g., micrometers, calipers, CMMs, etc.).
