Contract type: On-going support of the Computerised Social Security System II (CSSS-II) for the Social Welfare Department.
Deadline: 15 Dec ****.
Contract period: 01 Feb **** to 31 Jul **** (6 months).
Payroll under InfoTech.
Employer: Business Government T26 Contract.
Location: Base Taikoo, Guangdong Province.
Salary: HK$ N/A.
Responsibilities
Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the SWD.
Provide on-going support to the maintenance and enhancements of CSSS-II, a mission-critical system.
Participate in procurement of computer equipment and services.
Monitor the performance of the CSSS-II server platform and system environments by the contractors.
Coordinate with application development teams on on-going support and testing of the CSSS-II system.
Coordinate with different parties to support system integration with external systems.
Assure the quality of project deliverables.
Supervise Systems Analysts / Analyst Programmers to carry out their duties.
Experience
10.0 years total post-qualification experience, 3.0 years relevant experience.
Requirements
Solid experience in system implementation, contractor management, large-scale system infrastructure, and high-availability system configuration.
Experience in procurement of IT products/services.
Experience in support of mission-critical system environments.
Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
At least 10 years post-qualification experience with at least 3 years relevant experience in a similar post.
Technical Skills
= 3 years experience in JBoss Application Server (JBAS).
= 3 years experience in Multi-tier System Integration (MSI).
= 2 years experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT).
= 2 years experience in EGIS (EGI).
3 years experience in IT Planning (ITP) is an advantage.
1.5 years experience in Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) is an advantage.
Non-Technical Skills
= 3 years experience in managing Government projects (MGP).
