Job Title: Financial Operations Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial professional to oversee our day-to-day financial operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of finance, including reporting, compliance, and supporting external accountants and auditors.
* Lead the management of ledgers, supplier and subcontractor accounts
* Prepare monthly financial statements: accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, intercompany charges
* Manage VAT, PAYE, and RCT returns
* Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and Revenue
* Support project costing, budgeting, and forecasting (including cash flow management)
* Assist with year-end processes: profit and loss statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement
* Evaluate the accuracy of records and resolve discrepancies
* Collaborate with site and office teams across departments
About You
* Qualifications: Accounting Technician or part-fully qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA, or equivalent experience
* At least 3 years' experience in a similar financial role in Ireland
* Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 (essential)
* Experience with BrightPay is desirable
* Comfortable with Irish Revenue systems and compliance
* Advanced Excel and IT skills
* Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
