Medical Oncology Consultant Position

* Acting as a consultant medical oncologist under the hospital's board
* Providing and administering medical oncology services for patients
* Working within the hospital's clinical management structures
* Participating in education and teaching, including undergraduate and postgraduate training
* Developing and collaborating on research projects as appropriate to the specialty
* Being accessible to clinical staff for advice on patient treatment and management
Meetings relevant to the position will be attended and participated in, such as medical boards and committees.
A commitment to research and audit in the hospital is expected.
Requirements for the position include:
* Eligibility to apply for the Irish Medical Council registration
* Experience in oncology at a consultant level
* Desirable experience from Ireland, the UK, EU, Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, or Sudan
