We are seeking a skilled and motivated Temporary Life Insurance Agent to fill this temporary role. This position will be based in the city centre and cover leave for approximately 6 weeks.
This temporary assignment requires an individual with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Familiarity with the Applied Broker system and proficiency in MS Office are essential.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for responding to sales leads for life insurance, completing the end-to-end policy offer and sale.
Additionally, they will provide administrative support relating to general insurance and contact targeted renewals to drive retention targets.
The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, enabling them to build rapport and relationships with potential and existing customers.
Key responsibilities include:
* Responding to sales leads for life insurance and completing the end-to-end policy offer and sale
* Providing administrative support relating to general insurance
* Contacting targeted renewals to drive retention targets
* Building rapport and relationships with potential and existing customers
* Identifying cross-selling prospects for additional products and arranging follow-up calls with customers for future sales opportunities
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Approved Product Advisor (APA) qualification for life insurance
* Excellent phone manner and communication skills
* Good IT and MS Office skills
* Familiarity with the Applied Broker system
* Ability to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Attention to detail, ability to interpret data, and ability to follow work through
* Prioritizing and managing own work
* Enthusiastic, professional, positive, and flexible approach
* Good negotiation skills and target-focused
