Head of Development
, you will have full ownership of the engineering function, setting the strategic direction for technology while ensuring world-class delivery.

, where you'll play a critical part in shaping the long-term technology vision for a high-performing, financially sophisticated organisation.
Working closely with the CTO and leadership team, you will guide and scale a talented group of developers, modernise platforms, and ensure technology continues to be a key enabler of the firm's growth and competitive advantage.

What you'll do:
Take full ownership of the end-to-end development strategy, roadmap, and execution.
Lead, inspire, and scale a high-calibre engineering team focused on mission-critical investment products.
Shape and implement modern engineering practices (Agile, CI/CD, DevOps, cloud-native).
Partner with senior stakeholders and C-suite executives to align technology with business strategy.
Make key strategic decisions that drive the firm's profitability, efficiency, and innovation.
Position yourself as a
future CTO
, with a clear succession plan in place.
What you bring:
10+ years' experience in software engineering leadership within large-scale, high-performing environments (financial services experience highly valued).
Proven success delivering enterprise-grade cloud native, high-availability applications.
Strong experience scaling engineering organisations and embedding best-in-class practices.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a track record of influencing at senior executive level.
Ownership of development strategy, governance, and budgets.
Deep knowledge of
cloud technologies
and modern development methodologies.
