AB Dog Boarding, Daycare and Retail LLP is seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Care Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands‑on experience in pet care within a professional setting, ideal for individuals aspiring to build a career in the pet care industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Daily Pet Care: Assist in the daily care and supervision of dogs in our boarding and daycare facilities, ensuring their safety, health, and happiness. Taking multiple updates.
* Feeding and Medication: Follow established protocols for feeding schedules and administer medications as directed, maintaining accurate health records.
* Exercise and Enrichment: Engage dogs in playtime and activities to provide mental and physical stimulation, contributing to their overall well‑being.
* Facility Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the facility by performing routine cleaning tasks and maintaining a sanitary environment.
* Customer Interaction: Assist in communicating with pet owners during drop‑off and pick‑up times, providing updates on their pets and addressing any inquiries.
Requirements
* Passion for Animals: A genuine love for dogs and a desire to provide high‑quality care.
* Flexibility: Willingness to work a combination of day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per the schedule.
