Job Opportunity: Permanent full time Regional Service Manager in Addiction and Homeless service
About the Role
The Regional Service Manager will lead the development of new and innovative responses to service users needs in the region. This involves management responsibility for teams across various locations, budgetary management and controls for all services in the region, ensuring health & safety requirements are up to standard and monitored, managing buildings, vehicles and equipment to deliver regional services.
Key Responsibilities
* Have management responsibility for teams across various locations in the region.
* Lead the development of new and innovative responses to service users' needs in the region.
* Be the primary point of contact for regional and local funders with responsibility for seeking new funding opportunities.
* Be responsible for budgetary management and controls for all services in the region.
* Ensure all health & safety requirements are up to standard and monitored.
* Manage buildings, vehicles and equipment to deliver regional services.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will have a minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care/Social Studies, Counselling, Psychology, or related field. You will also require a minimum of 2 years experience supervising and managing a team in a community, addiction service or similar setting. Additionally, you should have frontline experience in addiction-related services or family support, an understanding of the complex issues relating to substance misuse and mental health and the delivery of trauma informed service, knowledge of family programs, and an understanding of National Drug & Alcohol Strategy and National Drug Rehabilitation Framework.
