Senior Data Engineer Role Overview: The Senior Data Engineer will be part of a multidisciplinary team working across various sites, leading the development of data solutions using Highbyte. This role involves supporting the client throughout the project execution. Key Responsibilities: Design and Implement Data Acquisition Strategies: Capture real-time manufacturing data from various sources, including process equipment, instruments, IoT, and control systems (MES, BMS, DCS, OEM, etc.). Develop and Maintain Data Models: Create and manage data models, templates, and calculations within the Highbyte system to support manufacturing analytics and reporting. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Define data requirements and implement solutions to address business needs. Ensure Data Integrity and Consistency: Implement data quality control measures and monitor data validation processes. Provide Technical Support and Training: Assist end-users with data acquisition and visualization tools. Stay Up-to-Date: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to data engineering and manufacturing systems. Contribute to Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance data management processes, system performance, and user experience. Develop Digital Twin Capability: Strategize and implement future Digital Twin capabilities for process modeling. Job Requirements: Essential Skills: Extensive experience with the Highbyte system, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry. Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, including batch processing, equipment automation, and data acquisition systems. Proficiency in data engineering concepts, data integration, and data management best practices. Ability to multitask, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks in a busy environment. Understanding of AVEVA PI system functionality. Nice to Have Skills: Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) and scripting. Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, GMP) related to data integrity and computerized systems validation.
