The role
A Maintenance Engineer is required by CareerWise Recruitment to join our West Cork based food processing client company. Permanent role within a modern automated facility.ResponsibilitiesAssist with development and implementation of the preventative maintenance routine and manufacturing processes.Identify and implement continuous improvements in conjunction with the maintenance team.Apply good manufacturing policy (GMP) and take a proactive approach to ensuring all tasks are completed.Assist in the safe and efficient operation of maintenance systems.Maintenance of controls, sensors, pneumatics and electrics in a fast-paced production facility.Must be able to recognise, diagnose and solve common engineering problems related to production machinery.Participate in a team to help make the necessary improvements or repairs to process related issues in the production facilities.Job RequirementsRelevant 3rd level Engineering or Trades qualification.Experience maintaining Manufacturing Systems/Equipment in a processing plant.Knowledge/Qualification and understanding of Electrical and Mechanical Automation.
