Main Responsibilities:
* Manage and deliver various Engineering projects with high standards.
* Closely collaborate with stakeholders on project updates and issues.
* Analyse and resolve engineering problems through research, recommendations, drawings, schematics, diagrams, component evaluation, material sourcing, supplier liaison, specification development, safety standards, new equipment assessment, and installation oversight.
* Organise internal teams and external labour for project execution, ensuring adherence to the project plan throughout the lifecycle.
* Maintain project team performance by communicating essential information, coordinating actions, obtaining expert input, reviewing open issues, contributing to team meetings, and reporting progress.
* Closely work with sites across the group to implement projects efficiently with minimal disruption to production.
* Sourcing parts, liaising with suppliers, following up on deliveries, and overseeing timely action on incoming parts.
* Support engineering budgeting and cost analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* Experience in Project Management.
* Several years of industry experience in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment and processes.
* Prior experience in water treatment or automation is beneficial but not necessary.
* Able to analyse situations and troubleshoot/problem solve as required.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* High technical ability.
* Attention to detail.
* Proficient in technology use, including good IT skills, Excel, and Auto CAD.
* Organisational skills, managing conflicting priorities effectively.
* Enthusiastic team player with high expectations for self and others.
* Able to work under pressure and take initiative.
* Constantly striving to enhance and improve existing processes to add value.
* Flexibility and adaptability to change.
* Willingsness to travel when required.
