Opportunity to join a well-established international high-volume manufacturing facility. This is a straight day role, with one week in four on-call.
Responsibilities include:
1. Safe execution of electrical preventative maintenance in the field in line with site policies, procedures, and standards.
2. Complying with and participating in all aspects of site Health and Safety requirements, including Risk Assessments, Safety Initiatives, Safe Systems of Work, and other relevant matters.
3. Completing a wide range of electrical and instrument maintenance tasks, such as lighting, general services, process controls, motive power systems, along with DCS and PLC systems.
4. Full interaction with the CMMS and Work Order System.
5. Participating in continuous improvement activities.
Experience
3 to 5 years of experience as a qualified Mechanical Fitter, preferably in a similar production or manufacturing environment.
Skills required include:
* Ability to demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Safety consciousness when working on machinery.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and mechatronic equipment, requiring a strong understanding of these areas.
