* Liaise with customers and project managers to ensure seamless communication and effective collaboration.
* Manage commercial and contractual aspects of relationships with customers, consultants, and subcontractors, maintaining strong working relationships and resolving any disputes that may arise.
* Measure, price, negotiate, and agree budgets and costs for variations to project scope, accurately assessing the impact on project timelines and resources.
* Verify project costs are correct, raise queries where necessary, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies.
* Attend pre-contract meetings, engage with construction professionals, and ensure timely completion of agreed actions, fostering a collaborative environment.
* Produce and maintain up-to-date procurement schedules, enabling informed decision-making and efficient project planning.
* Compile and issue invitations to tender, analyze subcontractor quotations, and make recommendations for order placement, leveraging expertise to drive business growth.
* Compile subcontract orders for approval, verifying accuracy and completeness to ensure compliance.
* Visit sites to measure and value works completed, assessing progress and identifying areas for improvement.
* Assess subcontractor payment entitlement and process payments, facilitating fair compensation and maintaining positive working relationships.
* Perform reconciliation of cost and value to date/forecast, keeping the management team informed of project performance, and providing actionable insights to optimize outcomes.
