We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our employees and contractors.
Job Description
* Carry out regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
* Develop and maintain up-to-date risk assessments, safe operating procedures, and safety statements.
* Provide training and inductions for new staff and ensure that all personnel have the necessary PPE.
* Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement measures to prevent re-occurrence.
* Review and update safety policies and procedures on a regular basis.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, with experience working in the construction industry. A degree in health and safety or a related field is essential, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 3rd level qualification in Health and Safety
* 5+ years experience in Health and Safety Management
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexible to travel across several sites in Ireland
