Job descriptionThe Quality Assurance Technician will report into the Quality Manager and Provide technical support to the Production Team to ensure current product quality & safety standards are maintained and enhanced where appropriate.DutiesThe Quality Assurance Technician Assistant will be responsible for the following duties:· To take ownership and manage Quality & Food Safety in production work areas· Monitoring of the production process in line with factory procedures & HACCP· To keep adequate records of work and to ensure that they are accurate.· Ensure high quality and safe product is produced at all times· Internal auditing.· Assist with the training of production operators· To address and resolve customer complaints.· To carry out such other work as may be required from time to time.· Compliance with the Food Safety requirements set by both the Company and Regulatory Authorities· Aid with the maintenance of Quality and Environmental Standards on site such as BRC, Bord Bia, BS855 etc.· Internal Systems Audits.· Generation of maintenance of Product Specification for retail customers.· Assist with supplier and customer audits and close outCriteria/Essential ExperienceThe Quality Assurance Technician must be able to demonstrate the following:Robust understanding of Food Safety and Quality Management SystemPrevious experience in a Food Production Facility preferred but not essential.Skilled in Computer use - Excel, Word, Power-point.· At least 1 years' experience working in an accredited food production facility.This is a full time positionJob Types: Full-time, PermanentWork Location: In personApplication deadline: 12/09/2025
