The Team
The Competition team advises on cutting-edge competition and regulatory matters, helping clients navigate an evolving EU and Irish legal landscape shaped by regulations, directives, and case law. The team works with both public and private sector clients, delivering practical and commercially minded legal advice.
The Role
As an Associate, you will work across the full spectrum of competition law, including:
* Advising on
anti-competitive agreements, abuse of dominance, and unfair competition
matters
* Supporting clients on
State aid compliance
and related litigation
* Assisting with
merger notifications
to the Irish Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) and the European Commission
* Supporting
litigation and regulatory work
before Irish and EU courts
* Assisting in defending clients in
competition law investigations and prosecutions
This is a hands-on role offering exposure to some of the most high-profile and complex competition law matters in Ireland. You will work alongside a dynamic and experienced team recognised for successfully defending competition law enforcement cases.
About You
* Qualified to practice law in Ireland with
2–4 years PQE
* Strong academic record with genuine interest in
competition law, EU law, and regulatory matters
* Excellent
legal research, drafting, analytical, and communication skills
* Commercially minded, proactive, and able to manage client relationships
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
* Fluency in English; additional languages an advantage
