Full-time RGN and HCA positions available at Ennistymon Community Hospital in County Clare, with immediate start dates and ongoing contracts.
Job Summary:
RGNs (Registered General Nurses) and HCAs (Healthcare Assistants) are required to work full-time, rotating shifts Monday through Sunday. The ideal candidates will be able to provide exceptional patient care, collaborate with the healthcare team, and maintain a safe and respectful environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing high-quality patient care, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
* Assisting patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
* Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation, including patient charts and medical histories.
* Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to a culture of excellence within the hospital.
Requirements:
* Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland or equivalent.
* Current certification in CPR/AED and other relevant life-saving skills.
* Ability to lift, push, and pull patients as needed, using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
* Familiarity with electronic health records and other relevant software systems.
