Flexsource is currently recruiting for a Catering Manager for our client in Cork.
Purpose of the Role:
The purpose of this role is to monitor performance and promote growth through direct line management of various service offerings.
Responsible for overseeing the kitchen, onsite restaurants, hospitality events, and vending services.
The role involves delivering customer-focused services that exceed expectations and drive business growth.
Preparing accurate financial reports to track each service and enhance profitability.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Maintain effective communication throughout the service.
2. Monitor staff and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
3. Support a team approach that recognizes individual contributions and promotes high staff morale.
4. Monitor and record team training and progress.
5. Plan, organize, and control all aspects of services and activities within client and company guidelines.
6. Manage staffing rotas to meet trading patterns, support business growth, and adhere to budget constraints.
7. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with company policies.
8. Ensure all equipment, fixtures, and fittings are maintained and safe for use.
9. Strictly control cash handling in accordance with the company's policies.
Experience:
* Experience in business management or a related field.
* Demonstrates high-quality customer service skills.
* At least 1 year of experience at a Catering Supervisor level or above.
