Are you looking for a new exciting opportunity in a busy, award winning restaurant?We are on the lookout for a kitchen staff member to join our team in our Galway storeCandidates must be fully flexible and available to work a range of shifts between 10:30am and 22:30pm, Monday to Sunday.Duties include:Food Preparation: Ensuring the kitchen is prepared for service each day. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, chopping, and storing food items.Cooking Support: Cooking and preparing dishes according to the company recipe book and quality standards. Reading order dockets and preparing food in a timely manner, and in accordance with customers' preferences, if applicable.Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.Inventory Management: Help in monitoring inventory levels in order to ensure you always have adequate supplies, receiving deliveries, and storing food supplies, ensuring that ingredients remain fresh and safe for consumption.Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices. Preventing cross-contamination and following HACCP procedures.Equipment Maintenance: Ensure kitchen equipment is clean and in good working condition, reporting any issues to the Kitchen Manager.Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the kitchen and floor staff team to ensure timely and efficient service.Desired Skills and Experience:HACCP qualification.Working knowledge of Food Safety regulations.Previous grill experience is necessary.What's in it for you:Meals on duty.Weekly pay plus tips.Regular staff nights out.Being part of a great kitchen team.The chance to join an expanding company, who values every staff member.Pay from €13.50 per hour Monday - Saturday, €14.00 per hour on Sundays.
