About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our team, working on residential projects across West Cork. This is a hybrid role combining technical drawing, property surveys, site involvement, and project management.
The role would suit someone with experience on construction sites who is looking to develop their technical and project management skills further. You will be involved in projects from planning through construction and completion, with a mix of home working, office-based work in Bantry, and regular site visits.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing planning drawings, construction details, and site layouts using AutoCAD
* Assisting with planning permission and construction documentation
* Carrying out property surveys and preparing associated reports as required
* Visiting sites to monitor progress, record construction stages, and review works with clients and builders
* Managing contractors and trades on behalf of clients in a Project Manager role
* Liaising with clients, builders, and other consultants throughout the project lifecycle

The key requirement for this role is practical exposure to construction sites and an understanding of construction phasing.
* Experience working on or visiting construction sites
* Understanding of residential construction processes and sequencing
* Ability to produce or work with technical drawings
* Experience using AutoCAD, or a willingness to develop proficiency
* Revit experience would be an advantage but is not essential
* Good organisational and communication skills
* Background in Civil Engineering, Construction, Architectural Technology, or a related field would be beneficial but is not essential
* Full driving licence and own vehicle required
Working Arrangements
* Hybrid role with a combination of home working, office-based work in Bantry, and site-based work across West Cork
* Flexibility available, subject to project requirements
Development and Progression
This role offers the opportunity to grow within the business over time. As experience develops, there will be scope to take on increased responsibility and play a more senior role in the delivery of projects.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €40,000.00-€60,000.00 per year
