About the Company
We're currently partnering with a
fast-growing Irish consumer & wellness business
with a multi-site operation nationwide. Due to continued expansion (with a new location launching shortly), they're now looking to hire an experienced
Qualified Accountant
to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function.
This is a
hands-on role
suited to someone who enjoys being close to the operational side of the business while maintaining strong control over financial reporting, compliance, and systems.
About your new job.
You will be responsible for the smooth financial running of the business across multiple locations, with particular focus on bookkeeping, POS and stock reconciliation, payroll, and management reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Day-to-day bookkeeping in
Xero
, including bank reconciliations, AP/AR, invoicing, and expense tracking
* Preparation and filing of
VAT returns
, ensuring compliance with Irish tax regulations
* Management and reconciliation of
POS systems
across multiple sites
* Oversight of
stock control and inventory
across multiple locations
* Preparation of
monthly management accounts
, cash flow statements, and financial reports
* Payroll processing
, including PAYE and statutory filings
* Liaising with suppliers, customers, and external accountants
* Supporting
budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
* Improving financial processes, controls, and reporting as the business continues to scale
Is this you?
* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA)
* Strong working knowledge of
Xero
(essential)
* Experience managing
POS systems and stock control
in a multi-site environment
* Solid understanding of
VAT, payroll, and Irish compliance requirements
