Job Description
Role Purpose: To achieve growth by surpassing sales, margin and commercial targets for the branch, and steering the business to deliver exceptional customer service. Oversee daily operations of the branch, including sales, warehousing and accounts to ensure smooth operation and meet financial and operational targets.
Key Accountabilities
Sales & Commercial Leadership: Lead and develop high-performance sales culture, drive sales growth and profitability, develop local strategies, use CRM, coach teams.
Customer Experience & Relationship Management: Build relationships with customers, suppliers and stakeholders, deliver superior customer experience, resolve escalations.
Operational & Branch Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, manage inventory, monitor KPIs, manage costs.
Leadership & People Management: Motivate employees, set standards, support talent development.
Health, Safety & Compliance: Champion safety culture, ensure compliance with policies, maintain safe working environment.
Qualifications
Track record in achieving sales targets and financial objectives.
Experience commercially managing a branch or business unit in the industrial supplies sector.
Electrical experience preferred but not mandatory.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of electrical products and industry trends.
Financial Acumen: Ability to manage budgets and goals.
