Morgan McKinley are currently working with a well-established organisation in Dublin that is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to support its purchasing and supply chain operations.The Purchasing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting day-to-day purchasing activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of purchase orders, effective supplier communication, and adherence to internal purchasing policies.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Coordinate end-to-end purchasing activities, including purchase order creation, tracking, and follow-upMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchases, deliveries, and inventory levels.Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and order confirmationsMaintain accurate purchasing records, supplier data, and documentationSupport supplier onboarding and assist with resolving invoice or delivery discrepanciesEnsure compliance with internal purchasing policies and proceduresAssist with reporting on purchasing activity, spend, and supplier performanceIdentify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and efficiencyKey Requirements3+ years' experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain support roleProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelKnowledge of purchasing best practices and supplier managementAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
