Job Role Specification – Sales ExecutivePosition: Sales ExecutiveLocation: Ireland (with nationwide coverage)Reports to: Sales Manager / Managing DirectorContract Type: Full-time, PermanentRole OverviewThe Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and managing existing customer relationships for the sale and lease of shipping containers and modular units. This role requires a motivated self-starter with strong commercial awareness and the ability to deliver tailored solutions to customers across multiple industries.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business DevelopmentProactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities in container sales, leasing, and modular solutions.Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers across sectors such as construction, logistics, retail, and manufacturing.Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and presentations to potential clients.Negotiate and close sales to achieve monthly and annual targets.Maintain an active sales pipeline and update CRM systems with accurate customer information.Customer Service & Account ManagementAct as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.Follow up on leads, enquiries, and after-sales service to build repeat business.Provide advice and solutions tailored to customer requirements.Liaise with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products and services.Market AwarenessMonitor competitor activity and market trends to identify growth opportunities.Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and exhibitions.Support marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to increase brand awareness.Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong track record in B2B sales (experience in containers, modular buildings, construction, or related industries desirable).Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently while meeting targets and deadlines.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.Customer-focused, solution-driven approach.Experience & Qualifications2+ years of proven sales experience (B2B environment preferred).Experience in construction equipment, modular buildings, or a similar sector is an advantage but not essential.Full, clean driving licence required.Relevant qualification in sales, business, or a related field is desirable but not essential.What We OfferCompetitive base salary plus commission/bonus structure.Company vehicle, phone, and laptop (where applicable).Training and professional development opportunities.Career progression in a growing business.Pension scheme (if applicable).Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From €35,000.00 per yearBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany pensionOn-site parkingSick payAbility to commute/relocate:Grange, Limerick, CO.
