Description
Account Executive – WTW Corporate Risk and Broking (CRB) is a leading wholesale provider of insurance solutions to the broker market in Ireland. We offer services including risk assessment, risk management and advisory, risk transfer and placement, and claim advocacy. We are seeking an experienced Account Director / Account Executive with a passion for risk management and broking who can drive success for our clients.


Role

An Account Executive position is available for our offices in Limerick, Cork and/or Galway. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of clients and prospects, with accountability for client retention and new business development. You will manage and develop client and Willis Towers Watson (WTW) relationships and grow the portfolio within the business unit, targeting and converting prospects.


Responsibilities

* Understand the client’s business and their insurance / risk placement needs.
* Establish and maintain relationships within client entities and the business community.
* Provide technical, industry and subject matter expertise where required.
* Liaise with clients and insurers and build strong relationships.
* Engage early in the renewal process to ensure high quality service and account management.
* Actively participate in the sales process related to winning new clients.
* Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospects using Microsoft Dynamics.
* Respond quickly and accurately to new business introductions.
* Work with colleagues to capitalise on cross-selling opportunities.
* Collaborate with the Broking service team and provide direction as appropriate.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and implement best practice systems.
* Ensure consistency of work practices within the team.


Qualifications

* Relevant years of experience as an Account Director/Executive or similar role in Insurance Broking.
* Preferably educated to degree level.
* CIP qualified at a minimum; ACII an advantage.
* Willingness to travel to other locations as required.
* Proven track record of delivering high levels of client service.
* Practical knowledge of account development and tools to achieve this aim.
* Knowledge of insurance markets to effectively deal with client and company needs.
* Experience in new business sales process and track record of converting prospects to clients.
* Skilled at building effective relationships at all levels with clients, prospects, associates, insurers and external specialists.
* Ability to represent the practice and WTW with integrity and credibility.
* Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
