We are currently seeking a Weekend Kitchen Assistant to join our team.
The role involves working Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm.
Applicants must have a good standard of English and hold a valid EU passport.
This is a resident-facing role that involves direct interaction with residents, including serving meals and drinks in a dementia-friendly environment.
Candidates must be comfortable engaging with residents and contributing to a warm, homely atmosphere.
Main duties include:
Supporting the Catering Manager in the daily running of the kitchen.
Assisting with meal and beverage service to residents.
Washing delph, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Supporting with basic food preparation, such as making sandwiches, cereals, and toast.
Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
Being able to work efficiently in a busy environment as part of a team.
Full training and ongoing support will be provided to ensure you are confident and well equipped in your role.
