What You'll Do
* Drive the planning and delivery of software projects primarily, ensuring teams deliver what's agreed within the timeframe.
* Facilitate estimation and planning sessions with the engineering team to ensure work is well-defined and commitments are realistic.
* Proactively identify dependencies, risks, and blockers and ensure they're resolved quickly. Maintain visibility on progress through well-structured tracking and communication.
* Run retrospectives and other regular team check-ins to identify and implement process improvements.
* Work closely with the Product team to balance priorities, clarify requirements, and manage scope changes.
* Ensure the engineering team has everything they need - resources, context, and decisions to move efficiently.
* Encourage a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Keep delivery predictable and transparent across all stakeholders.
* Planning & delivery of other ad hoc projects across the company as required from time to time.
What we're looking for
* 4+ years of experience managing software projects or technical teams.
* Solid understanding of software development processes, CI/CD and release cycles.
* Strong organisational and communication skills - concise, assertive, and clear.
* Experience working directly with a range of functions, particularly engineering and product teams.
* Familiarity with agile methodologies.
* Hands-on experience with project tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or similar.
* A mindset focused on outcomes, not rituals.
