Job Title: Financial Account Manager
The role of a Financial Account Manager involves managing a ledger of varied customer accounts. This position requires strong analytical skills to assess and analyze new account applications, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with Sales Managers on queries.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage a ledger of customer accounts.
2. Pursue outstanding monies.
3. Liaise with Sales Managers.
4. Analyze new account applications.
5. Evaluate and escalate overdue accounts.
6. Reconcile accounts.
7. Perform general credit functions.
8. Support sales administration tasks including invoicing.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A significant amount of experience working in a dedicated Credit Control environment.
* Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship building skills.
* Strong attention to detail and understanding of financial statements and balance sheets.
* Effective prioritization and time management skills.
* Strong initiative and flexibility.
* Proficiency in MS Office and advanced MS Excel skills.
* Experience in Oracle IT systems is advantageous.
* Credit qualifications are beneficial (ICMT, IICM).
