About the Position
We are currently recruiting a
Quality Inspector
to join the Incoming Inspection function on a full-time, onsite basis in Carrigaline. Reporting to the Incoming Inspection Lead, this role will focus on inspection and auditing activities across incoming, in-process, and outgoing products, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards, specifications, and procedures.
This role would suit someone with a background in electronics manufacturing who is detail-focused, organised, and committed to maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect products and associated documentation in line with relevant standards, specifications, and procedures
* Accurately document inspection results and communicate non-conformances
* Release products for customer shipment, including preparation of certificates of conformance and required documentation
* File and archive inspection records in accordance with operating procedures
* Support Production Team Leaders to ensure key priorities are achieved
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including LEAN and 5S activities
* Support other Quality Inspectors, Operators, and Test Technicians as required
Experience/Requirements
* Previous experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
* Knowledge of relevant inspection standards, such as
IPC-A-610
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and operating procedures
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* A positive and flexible approach, with the ability to prioritise workload and see tasks through to completion
* Excellent planning, organisational, and time-management skills
