Skerries Creche has expanded and is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Crèche Assistant Manager to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic professional to provide strong leadership and ensure the highest standards of care and education in our service.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide professional leadership and oversee the day-to-day running of the crèche
Promote and maintain high standards of care and education for all children
Ensure that the welfare, safety, and individual needs of each child are met at all times
Ensure full compliance with childcare regulations and Tusla requirements
Support, lead, and motivate staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment
Maintain compliance with all policies and procedures
Work in partnership with parents and carers to build strong, trusting relationships
Implement an Aistear-based curriculum effectively within the service
Requirements:
Minimum FETAC Level 6 qualification (or higher) in Early Childhood Care and Education from a recognised body
Experience in a management or supervisory role within a childcare setting is a bonus
Strong knowledge of childcare regulations and experience working with Tusla
Experience implementing an Aistear-based curriculum
Excellent organisational, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate and support a team effectively
Proficiency in computer skills and relevant software
Applicants must supply suitable character references and be eligible for Garda and Police vetting
