KM Lynskey is looking to recruit a Project Manager to support the work of our successful fit out / ceilings / partitions division. Typical projects are in the data centre and large scale residential areas.
KM Lynskey is an established contractor with a strong project pipeline in both the areas of main contracting and specialist fit out. Projects are mainly located in the Greater Dublin area.
You will be interested in this role if you enjoy driving a project on site to successful conclusion with due regard to budget, quality and safety concerns. You will most likely be already familiar with fit out projects, and a knowledge of drywall, ceilings and partitions is desirable. You will be required to have the following experience and skills:
· 5 years' + experience of site / project management within the construction industry, preferably fit-out / drylining
· Ability to understand drawings and construction schedules
· Fluent in English with ability to read and understand complex technical documentation
· Strong understanding of the design and construction process which underpins project success
· Strong in the areas of communication, organisation, leadership and problem-solving
Typical duties:
· Managing project budgets to ensure they do not exceed the budgeted amount
· Managing daily operations of construction projects from start to finish, including communicating with subcontractors and vendors about any issues that may arise during the course of the project
· Managing the hiring of contractors, subcontractors, architects, and engineers as needed to complete the project on time and within budget
· Ensuring that all building codes and regulations are followed throughout the construction process
· Monitoring costs and managing budgets for projects using relevant computer software
· Coordinating with architects and engineers on project design issues and problem solving.
· Managing fit out construction projects from start to finish, including scheduling and budgeting for materials and labour costs as well as ensuring that all phases of construction are completed according to schedule
· Coordinating with clients to address any concerns or issues about the project during its development phase
Education:
Trades background in construction or relevant third level qualification
