Frontend Developer – Web Component Framework (Hybrid, Dublin)
Our client a well known firm is hiring a Frontend Developer to help build a cutting-edge, enterprise-grade UI Component Framework using the latest in web component standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing digital technology hub based in Dublin city centre, where innovation, collaboration, and user experience are at the heart of everything we do.
You'll play a key role in designing and developing reusable, performant, and accessible components with modern web standards like Custom Elements, Shadow DOM, and HTML templates. What You'll Do:
1. Design and build reusable UI components using modern web component technologies (Custom Elements, Shadow DOM, HTML templates).
2. Deliver dynamic, responsive, and accessible components that align with best practices in frontend architecture.
3. Collaborate closely with global cross-functional teams, including UX, product, and engineering.
4. Ensure high performance and cross-browser compatibility.
5. Write clean, modular, well-documented code with unit and integration test coverage.
6. Keep up with industry trends and contribute ideas to improve UI development practices.
What You'll Bring:
7. Strong knowledge of web component technologies including Custom Elements and Shadow DOM.
8. Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
9. Experience with frameworks/libraries like Lit or Stencil (or similar).
10. Solid understanding of HTML, CSS (including Grid, Flexbox, and CSS Variables).
11. Experience with micro-frontend architecture and integrating components across platforms (React, Angular, Vue).
12. Understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG, ARIA).
13. Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Karma) and E2E testing tools (e.g., Cypress).
14. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
15. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
