Our Hotel
More than just a hotel. Tulfarris is one of the most picturesque hotels in Wicklow. Our luxurious hotel consists of 90 guest rooms and 3 selfcatering lodges with their own unique story and style which provide the perfect setting for weddings and all sorts of special events. The Brasserie and The Fairways Restaurant serve an array of delicious food in a relaxing environment which boasts panoramic views across our golf course, the Blessington Lakes and Wicklow Mountains. All our food is sourced locally from our Irish farmers, cheese mongers and suppliers. We're also causing quite the stir with our fine selection of beers and cocktails Located just 45 minutes from Dublin City and 25 minutes from the M50, the hotel is easily accessible.
The Role
We are currently looking for a successful and enthusiastic Business Development Executive to secure and produce events from conception through to completion.
Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible to help grow our business in both leisure and corporate market. To be the first point of contact for all leisure & corporate enquiries via in person, telephone, email and to respond to all enquiries in a timely manner.
To plan and execute successful Business Development Executive with the support of the wider team and to ensure guest / customer satisfaction.
Hot Soft knowledge would be beneficial.
To operate in accordance with all of the company's policies and procedures, as stated in your terms and conditions of employment.
Responsibilities:
* Proactively research and identify new business opportunities, initiating contact with potential clients and delivering compelling presentations both over the phone and in person to key decision-makers.
* Actively network within the industry to drive brand awareness and generate high quality referrals.
* Create and deliver tailored proposals and presentations to effectively convert leads into confirmed business, consistently ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
* Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, tour operators, and event planners.
* Represent Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort at industry trade shows, networking events, and strategic sales missions to promote the brand and expand market reach.
* Partner with the sales & marketing team to execute targeted campaigns and promotional initiatives aligned with business development goals.
* Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records through CRM systems and sales pipeline management tools, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of sales activities.
Qualifications:
* Must have previous experience in a similar role in a hotel
* Be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of service
* Must be a team player with the ability to multi task
* Must be standards driven and detail orientated, with the desire to progress within the hospitality industry
* Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills.
* Attention to detail, good judgement and an empathetic manner.
* Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Communicate fluently in English (written & oral).
