Job Opportunity: Technical Leadership in Automation
We are seeking a seasoned automation professional to assume a technical leadership role within our engineering office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation and systems integration, with experience in managing and mentoring teams of engineers on technical projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, documentation, programming, and delivery of PLC/HMI/SCADA systems, as well as overseeing all technical aspects of project delivery. This includes reviewing and approving technical work to ensure compliance, quality, and consistency, as well as coordinating with project managers, procurement, and site teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and mentor a team of engineers in the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions
* Develop and implement technical strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects that meet client requirements and expectations
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Automation, or Mechatronic Engineering (Level 8 or equivalent)
* At least 8 years of experience in automation, control systems, or system integration
* Proven leadership experience managing or mentoring engineers on technical projects
* Strong understanding of PLC, HMI, and SCADA platforms (e.g. Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Rockwell, Ignition)
