As part of our ever-growing expansion of Kiernan Engineering across all sectors in the Munster region, we are recruiting registered apprentices for Waterford.
Commercial and Industrial Registered Apprentices
Large Scale commercial projects all based in Waterford City
Key Functions:
Ability to work on own initiative
Install of electrical apparatus and equipment
Testing and commissioning of electrical installations
Installation of containment services and associated components
Cabling installation, terminating and glanding
Ensure all QHSE requirements are fulfilled prior to work commencing
Working as part of a team on multi-disciplined projects
Knowledge of Electrical circuitry and safe Electrical installation methods, on site.
Good communication and interpersonal skills

Waterford, Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
Electrician: 1 year (preferred)
Registered under Solas Electrical Apprenticeship 2nd-4th Years
Licence/Certification:
Manual Handling Certificate (preferred)
Safe Pass (preferred)
Qualifications:
FETAC Level 6 Electrical Craft Certificate or equivalent
Experience:
Experience in Commercial, Industrial and Pharmaceutical projects is desirable
