About the role
Manufacturing Support Scientist/Engineer, reporting to the Associate Director for new product introduction within the Manufacturing group.
The role is a key contributor and part of the team for sustainable biologics manufacturing capacity.
Responsibilities
Drive cross-functional collaboration in process improvements and new product start-ups
Spearhead risk assessments and product changeover protocols
Champion process technology transfer and optimisation
Lead the charge in implementing a "Right-First Time" culture
Own and drive change controls, CAPAs, investigations, and improvement projects
Qualifications and skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Engineering or related field
3+ years experience with upstream and downstream GMP biologics manufacturing equipment and process automation
Experience with NP and tech-transfer an advantage
Proficiency in systems such as Delta V, MES Syncade, and SAP
Strong problem-solving abilities and project management skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience in lean manufacturing principles
