The Opportunity As part of our outreach programme in Ireland we work with parishes throughout the Island of Ireland to raise awareness and understanding about global justice issues.
The Church Manager plays a vital role in building and maintaining relationships with key church stakeholders, as well as managing the development of resources and activities that support people of faith to make the connection between their faith and taking action for a more just and sustainable world.

Demonstrated experience of leadership and management, including of teams/working groups.

Knowledge and understanding of the structures of the Catholic Church in Ireland.
3.
Demonstrated experience of delivering projects within established timelines.
4.
Experience of coordinating events.
5.
Experience of monitoring and evaluation, including establishing indicators and ensuring consistent and robust data collection.
6.
Experience of budget management.
Skills: 1.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
2.
Excellent facilitation skills.
3.
Strong organisational skills.
4.
Ability to work cross functionally.
5.
High level of attention to detail.
Qualities: 1.
A passion for, understanding and knowledge of human rights and related issues.

Flexibility – to be willing to work evenings and weekends as requested and to travel widely within Ireland where required.

Solution-focused and initiative driven with an ability to solve problems through innovative approaches.

Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
