C# Developer - Healthcare ****** Desired skills: C#, SQL, Azure, DevOps, Testing C# Developer - Healthcare I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Backend Developer to join a leading organisation within the healthcare technology sector.
This is a 6-month initial contract, operating on a hybrid basis, offering the chance to work on large-scale, high-impact systems that directly support healthcare operations.
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# and modern architectural patterns Build and optimise SQL Server databases, including stored procedures and performance tuning Contribute to the design and deployment of distributed, scalable, resilient systems Work with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and Azure cloud services Document technical requirements, data definitions, and operational processes Analyse workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements to processes, tools, and systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery Apply sound testing methodologies to ensure system reliability and performance Required Experience: Expert-level proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming Strong experience with SQL and relational databases (SQL Server preferred) Hands-on experience with Azure and modern DevOps tooling Proven background in building distributed, scalable, fault-tolerant systems Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or R Experience documenting technical and operational processes Ability to evaluate and improve workflows using process maps and flowcharts Solid understanding of testing methodologies Applicants must be eligible to work full-time in Ireland without restriction.
