Requirements:

A Structural Engineering Master’s degree or equivalent qualification
*
Proficient in Structural Engineering design software including Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS, SCIA, ROBOT, AutoCAD, and Revit
*
3 to 5+ years of structural design experience within Irish or European construction sectors, focusing on building projects
*
Strong understanding of reinforced concrete, steel, timber, and masonry design
*
Capable of building strong working relationships with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
*
Strong technical knowledge of Irish building regulations and Eurocodes
*
Chartered Engineer status or working toward chartership would be an advantage
Responsibilities:
*
Structural design of buildings ranging from schools and hospitals to commercial and residential developments
*
Ensure accuracy and attention to detail using software such as AutoCAD, Tekla, TEDDS, and Revit
*
Preparation of detailed structural designs at all project stages
*
Support in generating calculations, drawings, technical reports, and design documentation
*
Work closely with the team to resolve design and coordination issues
*
Participate in meetings with architects, contractors, and project stakeholders
*
Carry out site inspections and ensure contractors fulfill project obligations
*
Support project delivery from concept through to completion while maintaining quality and deadlines
