My client is undergoing a full business transformation, intenting to bring knowledge back in-house and focusing on upskilling and growing internal staff. They are looking for someone to drive the support agenda, act as a strong troubleshooter, and demonstrate initiative and leadership.
Your Responsibilities
1. Act as a mentor for Junior members of the IT Support Team
2. Work closely with outsourced partners and other IT functions
3. Complete support tasks with minimal supervision and ensure all incidents are closed and documented efficiently
4. Provide technical support on Office 365 and bespoke applications
5. Create and maintain strong relationships with external partners
6. Create solutions to solve business problems
7. Continuously adopt a pro-active approach to ensuring the reliability and availability of applications
8. Train out application upgrades to internal teams
9. Maintain documentation on all new/upgraded applications and system processes
Your Qualifications and Experience
10. Experience leading IT support function
11. Experience leading implementation projects
12. 4 -5 years' experience in a IT Systems Analyst role or proven experience
13. A strong track record of problem solving abilities.
14. Office 365 / Entra administration
15. Knowledge of Microsoft server environments
16. Jira administration is an advantage
17. Experience of writing procedural documentation for support/testing and training of applications
18. Use own initiative to research and learn new technologies where required
19. Be a team player but also capability to work on own initiative
20. A degree in Computer Science or relevant valid certifications
