About The Role
As a CBRE Electrician, you will inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment in assigned facilities. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
Location: Dublin, Ireland
What You’ll Do
* Oversee electrical and lighting systems' operation, repair, and maintenance. Perform new installations of equipment.
* Check, repair, and replace components of electrical and lighting systems, including valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes.
* Ensure equipment is maintained and operated safely.
* Review maintenance records to develop proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.
* Provide efficient and reliable service to customers.
* Apply standard principles and techniques to accomplish tasks and solve routine problems.
* Possess broad knowledge of your discipline and some knowledge of related disciplines.
* Lead by example, modeling behaviors aligned with CBRE RISE values. May involve persuading or reaching agreements.
* Impact the quality of your work and that of your team.
* Work within standardized procedures to meet objectives and deadlines.
* Communicate complex information clearly to others.
What You’ll Need
* High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4 years of relevant experience. Completion of a formal apprenticeship is preferred. Master Electrician license required per local codes. Valid driver’s license essential.
* Physical ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift/carry loads of 50 lbs or more.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Understanding of procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
* Ability to analyze solutions and apply judgment.
* Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.
* Advanced math skills for calculations involving percentages, discounts, and commissions.
